STRIELKŪNAS John was born in 1939. Panevezys district., Putauskų km. Peasant family. In 1957. Vabalninkas B.Sruogos finished high school. Worked Vabalninkas and Biržų district newspaper editorial. In 1963. moved to Panevezys. Currently working in Panevezys Oil Base. The first poems appeared in 1955 in the regional press.
