This futuristic Italian concept clearly has a practical side: no loss and cleansing your dish water flowing under the rack, use rather to grow plants or downright food and herbs (basil, wood table bases for glass tops chives, ... !)
The two opposing tanks contain clay balls on top and coconut fibers below, they will play a role in regulating the water environment of the plant in addition to assuming a Role of the basic cleaner drainer, which is kept clean at all times.
Really nice, where did you order? ... For the moment it is not possible since it is just a concept (Fluidity) but it might give ideas to make one yourself (using a 3D printer).

OK for plates, cutlery and but for the rest ... Environmentally, it depends on the plastic used. Find it quite place in the shop selling kitchen. But practically, the plates are dishwasher safe and it is everything that is washed a large part. Yes for decoration, not daily.
