I have a wisteria but really no place for it. I knölade it down next to some other climbers, wonder

One of my favorite flowers all categories are Wisteria sinensis, wisteria. This year I bought the seeds and will try that. Will it be successful, the idea is that it should be able to share space with my citrus trees, olives and figs in a pot, a uppstammat silver pear and lots of lavender in the future Mediterranean corner of the garden. :) How much mediterranean it will now be in Zone 4 ... Wisteria is a really strong-growing climber. The flowers are blue, purple or white, forming bunches will be about 15-20 inches long. The flowers have a fragrance that both butterflies and bees like. Unfortunately, W. sinensis frost-sensitive and can only Zone 1 (possibly 2). Even in the southernmost parts of the country, the winter covered to not freeze off. If you have a hardy climate, it can be over 20 feet tall. The world's largest known Wisteria is located in the Sierra Madre, clean dirty dishwasher sign and is larger than an acre (0.40 hectares) in size and weighs about 250 tons. Fantastic!

Although it is available in the colors white, blue and purple. It can withstand temperatures down to - 40 degrees. The flowers are blue ('Blue Moon') or white ('Clara clean dirty dishwasher sign Mack') and blåregnet can be about 5 m high. It can apparently BLOOM TWICE IN ONE SEASON up to three (!) Times a year, I read somewhere and is hardy to zone 5. However, one should be aware that the flowers of this kind will not be as spectacular as W. sinensis. clean dirty dishwasher sign Wisteria macrostachya Photo: confessionsofaserialtiller.blogspot.com When flowering is over, get blåregnet fröbaljor which is about 8 inches long and contains numerous toxic, brown, bean-like seeds. The poison in the seeds called wisterin and if you eat them can be nausea, clean dirty dishwasher sign stomach pain or diarrhea. Wisterians flowers develop in the buds closest last year shoots so cut back the side shoots in early spring to get a more beautiful flowering. It takes at least five years of successful seeding to flowering. Wisteria sinensis came from China to Europe and North America in the early 1800s. The plant is easy to maintain and can be more than 50 years old. Full happiness clean dirty dishwasher sign would be to get my seeds to grow into a lush flowering wisteria ... say ... a so-so 5-6 years ...;) Hugs!
Are on the wisteria No. 2. The first I had last garden (in pots) took the hit and it became avtrampad clean dirty dishwasher sign the pergola construction and liver barely at low altitude nowadays. Wisteria No. 2, purchased last year, to see if it is doing better! / Anette January 20, 2011 08:16
I have a wisteria but really no place for it. I knölade it down next to some other climbers, wondering how to do it ... For in Skåne grow wisteria often a little too wild, you get to keep it firmly. But it's so nice! Hope you succeed with your plants! Hug Katarina January 20, 2011 20:09
Oh, those macrostachya-flowers would satisfy just fine with me. My sinensis grows with enormous long vines but flowers - not. Well, maybe one or two ahead late summer, often well hidden among the leaves. Hug January 20, 2011 21:52
Wisteria is really a pipe plant ... Thanks for the rich information about the different models. Now I get the craving (again .....) Perhaps I should turn to a day at a plant ..... Jora ... kittens are gregarious, but veeery slow ....;-) Keeping my fingers crossed for your seeding! Many hugs Charlotte January 20 2011 22:45
They have had the purges in the basement of the house I work. Every day axle trailer driven to the recycling of various bobs. In the beginning trod ...
