Memorizing Multiplication Tables In Conventional What is Still Effective? | Coffee Stand Mas Budhi
From an existing class in school was the sound of students loudly and together were memorizing multiplication tables, "one times one equals one, one times two equals two ...", thus appearing simultaneous voice and monotonous.
Then I remembered my childhood a few decades ago, when I sat in class 2 elementary school, then I also have to memorize the multiplication tables in a conventional manner, my mother wrote multiplication tables on a piece of paper and with difficulty I had to memorize one by one.
Nah..setelah few tens of years gone by I was surprised also why there are still schools that teach how to memorize the multiplication tables in a manner similar to the way I was many years ago, is not now so many modern ways to mengahafal multiplication and learning black and cream kitchen count easily and quickly. There is only a technique abacus, then Kumon method, and others. My question becomes whether the methods we learned in school, especially those in rural areas are not experiencing renewal as the development time?

It is true that a good many new methods for example Jarimatika and others. But I think a better future children memorized by rote in multiplication and division, if they are still calculating the multiplication with the finger is too long, especially for children who are prepared for math olympiad competition black and cream kitchen
