To find volunteer awareness and favorable environmental conditions for formation of Latvian regions

2011, in accordance with the 27 November 2009 decision chrome table legs of the Council of the European Union, has been declared the European chrome table legs Year of Volunteering (EBDG). To find volunteer awareness and favorable environmental conditions for formation of Latvian regions, Ministry of Education, in collaboration with non-governmental organizations and local authorities, in the summer months organizes roundtables in five planning regions - Daugavpils (Latgale), Wear (England), Ventspils (Kurzeme), Jelgava (Zemgale ) and Riga.
